Close by are the
beautiful beaches of Driudston, Newgale and Broad Haven and the Pembrokeshire
coastal path is also within easy reach.
Castles abound in the region, Pembroke Carew and Picton being just a few
and are well worth a visit.
Cheese making, Wood turning and Woollen mills are all working crafts within a few
miles of the site. But of course the most famous craft to see is the Last Invasion embroidered tapestry in
Fishguard.
Ramsey Island and Skomer are both bird sanctuaries and boat trips to both are from St Justinians and Martins
Haven respectively during the season.
The city of St David's is about ten miles to the north of the site. The Cathedral and the Bishop's Palace are well worth a visit.
The RLNI Lifeboat Station is at St. Justinian just two miles from the City Centre.
Pony trekking and horse riding are available at Nolton stables and other pastimes such as golf and fishing are close by.
Finally a visit to Pembrokeshire’s own vineyard Cwm Deri Vineyard in Martletwy would be interesting. |
